Review your Plan.
I use a journal to write down my goals, my actions and my musings on a daily basis.
In the morning, in the evening or weekly on a Sunday night. Whatever suits you is the best time to review your plan. You will need about 20 minutes to jot down your goals and what you would like to accomplish each week. If doing this daily, break down the goal to daily steps. When you review, tick off if completed. It is with small actions that large goals are accomplished.
The reason I plan daily is I like to track every day my wins and losses. As, this way I know what is working and what is not.

Let’s take the normal example. ‘You would like to exercise a few times a week.’ To eliminate obstacles would mean planning for success. A few ways to plan for success with the example of exercising a few times a week could be;
- Put your gym clothes out the night before.
- Take your gym clothes with you to work so you can go to the gym on the way home from work.
- Put your walking shoes in the car, so you can walk to work from where you park and also walk at lunchtime.

One way to think of obstacles if to write up ‘What if’ answers to questions you put to yourself. Ok, what if you workout outside and it is raining, what would you do? A ‘what if it’s raining’ answer, maybe, work out at home, go for a swim, go to a gym. The aim is to think of solutions to problems before the problem arises.
Support can come in many ways. Not only can support come from friends, family but also from colleagues, support groups, accountability partners, mentors. This list for support could go on and on.
